Musik Hack's FUEL is OUTSTANDING

I'm sure that most of you heard about Musik Hack, the creators of the Master Plan, but did you hear about their new plugin "FUEL"? Featuring Master Plan's algorithm and many interesting features to make your mixes run on high-octane fuel!

The team behind Master Plan plugin, has launched their latest plugin - FUEL. And no, it's not run by AI. This plugin combines clipping, limiting, maximization, bass enhancement and saturation intro a single solution designed to simplify audio production and overall workflow. This plugin will also add that analog touch to your craft.

FUEL is where things change, so let's discuss more about it, shall we?

The topics we're going to cover:

1. What is FUEL?
2. How to use it?
3. Key Features
4. FUEL Pricing

5. Pros and Cons
6. Honest Thoughts

1. What is FUEL

Musik Hack FUEL represents an innovative all-in-one tool using a revolutionary technology that helps you to achieve bass enhancement, clipping, limiting, maximization and saturation into a single unit which makes the overall workflow simple and fast.

Once I put this plugin I realized that it's not designed for one specific instrument only. You can use this plugin on many different sources and signals such as bass, drums, vocals, mix bus... everywhere since it can be both aggressive and smooth at the same time.

Musik Hack has been working consistently on solving the problem all of us have - when you're in the rush about finishing the projects, the last thing you want to do is searching for different plugins and waste time. Musik Hack wanted all of those essentials packed in one place so you can have everything in front of you. FUEL represents a suite built to bring out the best in every single track you work on.

2. How to use FUEL

The way of using it is pretty straight-forward. Insert FUEL on your bass, drums, vocals, mix bus or where you want to have this plugin on, and that's it, you're ready to start using it. No need for extra routing etc.

You can use it in mastering as well, since it can add that nice flavor of saturation and texture you're probably looking for. It does really sound like an analog unit.

It's all about how it sounds and your taste, so no strict rules.

3. Key Features

Incredible Loudness

FUEL features the same unbeatable maximizer algorithm as Master Plan, which means that you'll be able to push your signal to their absolute maximum without losing quality.

It comes with low-latency mode for live tracking and real-time performance.

HOT Clipping & Distortion

Soft Clip: Get that classic trap-inspired soft clipping with character.

Crunch: Allows you to add grit, crunch and saturation to your signal (e.g. guitars, synths, vocals and drums).

Super Clear Compression

This feature combines smooth & transparent compression, upward compression and OTT multi-band which can add that snap, punch and polish that we all like.

High-Octane Saturation

FUEL makes it super easy to beef up kicks & basses and add that analog warmth & width across your signals. It's as simple as dialing these two knobs to your taste. You could also try using this in mastering which really gives that analog vibe and emulates analog gear.

Absolute Control

Unity gain monitoring allows you to hear exactly what FUEL is doing to your sound. They also featured Live Mode which is their low-latency for real-time performance and tracking and oversampling for clear results without any artifacts.

Various Presets for Inspiration

To top the fuel tank to its maximum, they also featured many presets for each instrument group, which makes things much easier for users. This is great since it can inspire you to create a specific sounding instruments sound even better, thanks to FUEL.

4. FUEL Pricing

Musik Hack FUEL is available with the following options:

Let's break down each one:
  • Free Demo - A 10-Day unrestricted trial
  • Rent-To-Own - $5/month for 12 months (was $6.60)
  • Forever - $59 (was $79)

5. Pros AND Cons

Pros

  • The sound: From all the one saturation plugin processor I tried, this one has the best sound. I was comparing the amount of saturation it introduces and how it introduces it with some other plugins, but this one sounds the best so far!
  • Very affordable: If you don't like paying all at once, you have multiple payment options which I find very affordable for such plugin.
  • Not limited to certain genres: This plugin isn't limited to certain genres, which means you can master anything.
  • Extremely easy to use: The way you're able to saturate and enhance your track within minutes shows how great FUEL actually is.
  • Responsible & Supportive Customer Service: Their team is always available for any questions. I was talking to their staff multiple times, and I really like their customer support and how responsive they are.

Cons

  • None really: Personally, I didn't find any cons yet, and I believe I won't be able to find any. I'm not their new user. I'm actually using FUEL for quite some time and I didn't find any cons.

6. Brutally Honest Thoughts

As their long-time users, our studio can definitely recommend using FUEL, and we confirm it's a 100% legit company with an incredibly passionate team behind everything they stand up for. With all of that being said, again, we highly recommend trying FUEL.
